Let’s break it down … science time
The air that we breathe has two oxygen molecules bonded together (O-O). When high intensity energy (like lightning) hits an O2 molecule, it splits. The resulting free oxygen bonds with another O2 molecule to become O3 activated oxygen, or OZONE.
OZONE’s structure is very reactive. When it comes in contact with your skin, the extra oxygen atom splits off, becoming a bacteria hunting free-radical.
When you apply OZO to a wound on your skin, the free-radical reacts with the bacteria and kills it. The remaining O2 is released as regular oxygen into the air.
