The FDA has highlighted Mexico’s “OZO Hand Sanitizer” and “OZO Hand Sanitizer, Luxury Formula” manufactured by “Estrategia Hospitalaria SA DE CV” and “Ismar Soluciones Dinámicas S de RL de CV” on their widely distributed “Do Not Use” list due to their unsafe use of methanol and their inadequate sanitizing power.
We’re unsure if they’re a supplier, manufacturer, or what their actual product is, but one thing is for certain — they’re not the real deal!
Rest assured, we have absolutely no connection or ties to those manufacturers in Mexico.
Life With OZO uses all natural ingredients, and are Health Canada approved for both safety AND efficacy — our mission is to keep people safe while they’re out doing life! 💪
Ingredients & Formulation
We use USP Pharma-Grade 95% Pure-Grain Ethyl Alcohol in a 68% final concentration. That means our Hand Sanitizer is safe for use during pregnancy when used as directed.
According to the FDA & Health Canada's guidelines, in order to be an effective hand sanitizer, it must be at least 70% Isopropyl Alcohol, or 60% Ethyl Alcohol.
Life With OZO's Hand Sanitizer uses 68% Ethyl Alcohol, which means we are well above the threshold standards for both safety and efficacy!
Yes! As a Health Canada approved product, our Aloe & Peppermint Hand Sanitizer has a Natural Product Number, which means it has been approved for safety, sanitizing efficacy, and purity.

We didn’t always plan on making hand sanitizer — it’s true. We founded OZO in 2018 to produce an all-natural first aid ointment to soothe cuts and scrapes. We are still working on our OZO Hero Salve (coming summer 2020), but having set up our entire supply chain, we knew we were positioned to take action, and we felt it was our responsibility to do all that we can to support the efforts to fight COVID-19 in this challenging time. We are grateful that we can supply a quality product in this time of need. We recognize the great responsibility of being transparent and honorable in this challenging time, which is why we’ve chosen to donate a portion of each purchase to the World Health Organizations’ COVID-19 Response Fund.
We know it's so temptingly convenient to leave your Hand Sanitizer in your car, but it's not advisable. Considering that alcohol is flammable, avoid leaving it in hot places.
We're proud to say that we've donated 18,810 clean hands-worth of sanitizer so far!
